Telegram Mini App

Frotzbol

Predict what real Premier League matches will do, before kickoff and live while they play, against a private league of your friends.

Frotzbol runs inside Telegram. There is no app to install, no account to create, no password and no email address. If you have Telegram, you already have a Frotzbol account. Free to play, and nothing you can buy affects your score.

What Frotzbol isn't

Frotzbol is not gambling and not a tipster service. You make your own predictions, the app has no opinion on outcomes and does not tell anyone what to pick. It is free to play. There is no app-run prize pool and no money changes hands through Frotzbol itself. If a specific mini-league's creator chooses to attach their own prize for that league's winner, that is a private arrangement between real people, entirely outside anything Frotzbol runs, tracks, or touches.

That is built in rather than promised. A league has no prize field anywhere in the product, so a pot cannot be attached to one. Odds set how many points a prediction is worth and there is nothing to bet into. A wrong call scores zero and never takes away points you already have, because nothing was ever staked.

Pick your markets before kickoff, then open the match when it starts to make live calls and talk to your league.

Three things that make it different

  • 30 markets

Not just who wins. Corners, cards, scorers, handicaps, half-by-half outcomes, correct scores.

  • Live in-match windows

A new prediction window every five minutes while the match plays, down to naming the exact player who scores or gets booked next. Something you use during the game rather than a form you fill in beforehand.

  • A tiebreaker that cannot tie

Six levels deep, ending in a criterion unique to each person. Nobody finishes joint first.

Predicting live, as it happens

When a match kicks off, Frotzbol opens a prediction window every five minutes and keeps going for the whole match. You call what happens next: a goal, a card, a corner, or nothing at all. Then, separately and worth more, which team does each of those things — scores, wins the next corner, picks up the next booking — or neither, if you think none of them will.

Naming the team pays three points and calling neither pays one, and the gap is deliberate. Because a call only counts what happens after you make it, and most people pick late in a window, neither comes off around 95% of the time. Paying it the same as a real read of the match would have made it the only sensible play, so it is priced for what it is.

Behind a toggle, the two hardest calls on the screen: the exact player who scores next, and the exact player who gets booked next, picked from either squad. They stay folded away until you want them, so the quick calls are still one tap.

One tap submits it. There is no separate submit step, so you can put the phone down and watch. Each correct call is worth two points, and naming the right player is worth ten, added to your season total when the window resolves.

You can pick at any point while a window is open, and every call is judged from the second you made it. Only what happens after you pick can score for you, so this stays a prediction rather than a reaction, and calling it early catches more of the window. Each call is judged on its own too: your corner still pays even if a goal was the bigger thing that happened in those five minutes.

Picks pause through half time and close at full time. While a window is open you can see what the rest of your league picked, so each one becomes a group moment rather than a solo guess.

How points work

Every market is worth points derived from its real odds: decimal odds times ten. A 7.00 longshot pays 70. A 1.20 favourite pays the 10-point floor. Nothing pays more than 500, so one wild longshot cannot distort a table. This layer is where most of your points come from.

On top of that sits a flat bonus for the headline calls, and the two layers stack. Call 2-1 correctly and you take the correct-score market's odds value, often three figures, plus the flat 5 below. Not 5 instead of it.

The bonus layer, on top of whatever the odds paid

Exact scoreline
5
Right result and right goal difference
3
Right result only
2
Both teams to score
+1
First goalscorer
+3
Each correct live call
2
Naming which team scores, wins a corner, or is booked next
3
Calling that none of them happens
1
Each correct live player call
10
Half predictions
Priced by time left

Within that bonus, the score family is best of, never cumulative. An exact scoreline is five, not five plus three plus two. Both teams to score and first goalscorer are genuine add-ons on top of whichever one you earned.

Your points are fixed the moment your prediction locks. The odds move afterwards and your points do not.

30 markets, not one

Most prediction games ask who wins. Frotzbol asks 30 different questions about a match, which is what makes two people watching the same game end up with completely different cards.

With that many questions, some answers say the same thing twice. Backing Home on Match Result and Home or Draw on Double Chance is one opinion counted twice, so Frotzbol catches it and tells you which pick conflicts. The same check runs inside a live window: you cannot name a scorer and a booked player for the same window, or name a scorer while also calling no goal.

Match outcome 11
Match Result (1X2) · Double Chance · Draw No Bet · Winning Margin · Correct Score · Half-Time/Full-Time · First Half Result · Second Half Result · Half-Time Correct Score · Highest Scoring Half · Win Either Half

And then the match starts

Everything above is settled before kickoff. Once a match is under way Frotzbol becomes a different game: a new window opens every five minutes for what happens next, and alongside it you can call the rest of the half outright, including its exact score.

Every live pick is judged from the moment you make it, not from kickoff. A goal that was already on the board when you picked is not part of your call, which is why calling something early is worth more than calling it safe with a minute left. Half predictions are priced on exactly that: the less time is left, the less a safe call pays, and the app shows you the number before you commit.

Every 5 minutes 6
What happens next: goal, card, corner or nothing · Which team scores next, or neither · Which team wins the next corner, or neither · Which team is booked next, or neither · Which player scores next · Which player is booked next
For the rest of the half 7
Correct score from now to the break · Who wins the rest of the half · More goals, over or under a line · More corners, over or under a line · More bookings, over or under a line · Which player scores next this half · Which player is booked next this half

The live screen carries the rest of the match with it: a timeline plotting every goal and booking against your own picks, so you can see what happened before and after each one; the current Premier League table; and both starting elevens laid out on a pitch in their formation.

Your league, your people

Create a league, name it, and decide whether it is public or invite only. Everyone who joins gets an invite code in the form FRTZ-XXXX, built from an alphabet with no O or 0 and no I, l or 1, because these codes get read aloud and screenshotted.

No code, no problem: browse and search public leagues and join one outright. You can be in up to twenty at once, and leaving never deletes your points. Rejoin with the code and your standing comes back exactly as it was.

Whoever creates a league can edit it, archive and reopen it, remove someone or let them back in, message one member directly, or send an announcement to everyone. Archiving hides a league and closes it to new members without deleting a single thing.

Nobody finishes joint first

Every league has a live table, recalculated as matches settle, and ties break through six levels in order.

One Tables screen holds all of them: a tab per league you are in, plus Worldwide, which ranks you against everyone playing Frotzbol rather than only the friends you invited.

  1. Total points1
  2. Most exact scorelines2
  3. Most correct live in-match calls3
  4. Fewest missed gameweeks4
  5. Who reached their current total earliest5
  6. Who created their account earliest6

The last one is unique to each person, so two players can never be genuinely tied. The fourth is why turning up matters: a gameweek where you predict nothing counts against you on its own, whatever your points say.

Built for matchday

Chat, per fixture

Every fixture has a group chat scoped to your league. It opens at kickoff and stays open, because the argument about a match rarely ends at full time. Text, photos, GIFs, Telegram stickers, voice notes, replies that quote inline, and @-mentions that notify the person you named. You can edit or delete anything you sent. The top three in the table wear a crown, silver and bronze next to their name.

Notifications you control

A gameweek reminder 24 hours before it opens, then 3 hours and 30 minutes before the first kickoff of each day it runs across, so a Sunday fixture is not announced only on Saturday morning. Kickoff alerts, goals and red cards, your results when a match settles, and a nudge before a gameweek closes without you. Plus a standings alert when someone is closing on you or you are within reach of the place above. Every type switches off individually. Chat notifications arrive batched, so a busy match sends one message rather than forty.

Stats and shareable recaps

A season breakdown of your points, exact scorelines, correct live calls and gameweeks played or missed, with finished matches listed underneath the fixtures so you can tap back into any of them. After a match settles, Frotzbol builds a share card of how you did that posts to your Telegram Story in one tap.

Free to play, and free stays competitive

Frotzbol Supporter costs 154 Telegram Stars a month, billed by Telegram, cancel any time. It buys unlimited chat media, season stats kept unlocked, premium recap themes, and a star beside your name.

It buys nothing else. No extra points, no better odds, no extra predictions, no ranking advantage of any kind. A free player and a Supporter compete on exactly identical terms.

What it removes is advertising. Free play plays a short ad when you get your recap card, and each perk can be earned by watching one instead: you start with five media credits and each ad grants five more, or unlocks season stats for a day. Supporters skip all of it. So the subscription sells convenience, never capability — nobody is paywalled out of the game, and nobody can buy their way up the table.

What Frotzbol knows about you

No password, no email address, no phone number. Sign-in uses your existing Telegram identity, verified on every request. Telegram handles Stars billing end to end, so payment details never reach Frotzbol at all.

Deleting your account takes four taps and happens immediately. It cancels any subscription, removes you from every league, and deletes your predictions, points and every photo, GIF and voice note you uploaded. No email, no support ticket, no waiting period.

Blocking someone is enforced on the server rather than hidden in your app, so a blocked person's messages never reach your device, including in history you scroll back through. They are not told, and they keep full access to the league. It is a personal mute, not a punishment.

Reporting is the other half of that, and it is the opposite: a report goes to Frotzbol to be looked at rather than quietly filtering your own view. League creators have a third option and can remove someone from their league outright.

Why the scoring can be trusted

The server decides everything. Your app sends your choices and nothing else, so timings, locks and points are all worked out server-side and a modified app cannot award itself anything or slip a prediction in late.

Predictions lock on server time, never your device clock. Point values are fixed when you predict and never recalculated afterwards. Scoring is deterministic, so a disputed result can be replayed through the same engine and produce the same answer. Fixtures come from the official Fantasy Premier League fixture list and a live football data provider.

Crediting a player call means matching a name across two separate football data sources. Where a name is ambiguous or missing, Frotzbol credits nobody rather than guessing, so a player market can settle at zero even though someone did score. Being wrong in your favour would be the worse failure.
